In the video below, posted yesterday, August 26, 2010, to the Google Webmaster Central Channel at Youtube.com, Matt Cutts explained that page rank is calculated on a quarterly basis and is determined by how well your site measures up to Google's opinion of the perfect site. Cutts also stated that page rank updates occur approximately every 3 months.
